He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wellington and Elaine Cool Wellington (Culver); his sons, Jason and Sean Wellington; and his siblings, Charles Culver, Robert Wellington and Mary Wellington.
He is survived by: his children, David Wellington, Jr., Joshua Butler of Herkimer and Shannon Wellington of Maine; his siblings, Ralph Wellington (Anna) of Cedarville, John Wellington of Middleville, Elizabeth Rando of Herkimer and Bridgett Riesel of Ilion; and his sister-in-law Cindy Wellington of Herkimer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fenner Funeral Home Inc. (115 Court St, Herkimer, NY 13350).
