With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty (Eva Elizabeth) Welch of Maine, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her husband Leo. She is survived by: her children, Leon, Elaine Burt of Pompey, NY and Doug (Kathy) of Big Flats, NY; her grandchildren, Cheryl Martin of Alpharetta, GA., Stephen Burt (Rebecca), Emily Burt, Joella Meehan (Mike), Gavin and Trevor Welch; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Leo Burt, Robbie and Allie Carducci.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Maine Federated Church (2615 State Rte 26, Maine, NY 13802). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Maine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory May be made to the Maine Emergency Squad, or Maine Federated Church.
