He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Collins and Julia Collins (Daly); his wife Maria Collins (DePalma); and his daughters, Patricia Burke (Thomas) and Christine Dubbioso (Matthew).
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Juli Oleksy (Greg); and his grandchildren, Allison, Nicolas Dubbioso, Kaitlyn and Megan Burke.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cargain Funeral Homes Inc. - Mahopac (418 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (221 E Lake Blvd, Mahopac, NY 10541). The military honors was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc. (418 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541).
