It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew A. Notz (Mahopac, New York), who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Matthew touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (692 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (221 E Lake Blvd, Mahopac, NY 10541).
