He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mahoney (Theobald); his children, Cathy Mahoney Melamed (Paul), Joseph Mahoney IV (Maria) and Brian Mahoney (Amy); his grandchildren, JT, Ian, Sascha, Emma, Brendan, Patrick, Cameron and Joe; and his siblings, Carolyn Heyward of Baldwin, NY and Robert Mahoney of Boston, MA..
