He was predeceased by: his parents, John Higgins and Julia Higgins (Heskin); his siblings, Michael and Kathleen; his wife Patricia; and his son Kevin.
He is survived by: his children, Brendan Higgins (Cheryl), Kathleen Walsh (Brian) and Erin Higgins (Mike); and his daughter-in-law Carrie Higgins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (692 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (1377 E Main St, Shrub Oak, NY 10588).
