With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John F. Ruocco (Mahopac, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on March 17, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ruocco and Carmela Ruocco; his sister-in-law Frances; and his nieces and nephews, Stephen (Gina), Joseph, Albert (Randi), Danielle Constantine (Anthony), Joann Vibbert (Marc) and Doreen Ruocco.
He is survived by: his sister Roberta. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (692 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
