With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Cyran of Mahopac, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Cyran and Mary Cyran (Tajak); his wife Helen Metlicke; his children, Maryann Mannion (Thomas), Helen Cyran, Geralyn Vano (Peter), Diane Fischer (Alan), Doreen Sottile (Anthony), Michael Cyran (Julie), Rita Mattos (Keith), Joseph Cyran, Lori Ann Penzo (John) and Gary Cyran (Kathleen); and his brother Alexander. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He loved sports of all kinds, cooking and swimming at Club Fit, which he did regularly until Covid closed things down.
