He was predeceased by: his parents, Christy O'Toole and Mary O'Toole (McNulty); his son Christopher O'Toole; his granddaughters, Erin, Francesca and Grace O'Toole; his brother Alfred; and his sister-in-law Anne O'Toole.
He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Edward O'Toole (Aida), Donald O'Toole (Molly), John O'Toole (Jacqueline), Marianne O'Toole (David Varoli), Hugh O'Toole (Julie) and Andrew O'Toole (Jill); his daughter-in-law Jennifer McEnery; his grandchildren, Colleen Miller, Katherine, Sean, Liam, Caitlin, Christopher, Gerard, David Varoli, Elizabeth Varoli, Andrew Varoli, Ryan, Ian, Emma, Aidan, Madeline and Isabel; his great grandchildren, Mason, Aubree, Sophie, Nora and Nevan; and his sister Helen Carroll of Ireland.
