She was predeceased by: her parents, Georg Jurgeleit and Martha Jurgeleit (Swars); her husband Karl; and her siblings, Gerhard, Waltraut, Erika and Brunhilde.
She is survived by: her children, Ingrid Duffelmeyer (Edward) of Danbury, CT and Eric Faulhaber (Tamar) of Alpharetta, GA; her sister Hannelore Jurgeleit of Yorktown Heights, NY; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Danielle and Elisabeth.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Christel's honor.
