Catherine O'Connor Obituary

We bid farewell to Catherine O'Connor (Mahopac, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 82. Catherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cummins and Kathleen Cummins; and her son Kevin. She is survived by: her children, John O'Connor (Eleanor), Catherine Muldoon (Michael), Neil O'Connor (Debra), Julie O'Connor and Emmett O'Connor (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Kristin, Ryan, Andrew, Jack, Emma, Michael, Aidan and Seamus; and her siblings, Josephine Gormally (Dodo), John Cummins (Mary), Mary, Christopher, Michael, Patrick Cummins, Ann Smith and Bridget Purfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (692 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (221 E Lake Blvd, Mahopac, NY 10541).
