She was predeceased by: her parents, James Murphy and Catherine Murphy (Crehan); her husband Robert Hochstein; her daughter Jeanne Schmitt; and her siblings, Mary, Daniel, James and Peter (Titina).
She is survived by: her former husband George Schmitt; her children, Julie Sweeney (Brian), George Schmitt (Anne-Catherine), Jennifer Matera (Gregory), Joanne Bauer (Paul) and Jamie Smith (Christopher); her stepdaughters, Jennifer Studwell (Brian) and Allison Jaynes (Scott); her grandchildren, Alison Roffo (Nicco), William Vitale (Krystin), Michelle Vitale (Abigail), Brendan Sweeney, Zakary Bauer, Connor Sweeney, Danielle Smith, Erin Sweeney, Jeremy Bauer, Jocelyn Matera, Thomas Smith, Emily Matera, Andrew Bauer, Hannah Bauer and Sabrina Schmitt; her stepgrandchildren, Jonathan, Lexie, Jacob, Ethan, Noah, Matthew and Andrew; and her sisters, Sandra Murphy-Hudis (Daniel), Patricia Murphy (Donald Thomas), Theresa Merritt (Charles), Pam Huber (Peter) and Regina Murphy. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and limitless friends.
Face coverings and social distancing are required.
