He was predeceased by: his brothers, Douglas, Gerald and David Colbert; and his father Donald Colbert. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Waite; his children, Donald "DJ" (Janel Colbert), Derek (Sandi Colbert), Daniel Colbert, Deanna (Andy Dennis) and Dorie (Peter Reiter); and his brothers, Larry and Sandy Colbert. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
