He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Tubbs and Laura Rychwalski Tubbs; and his brothers, Leon Jr. and Donald. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Taber; his son Thomas; his daughter-in-law Jackie Tubbs of Lafayette; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Steven Chaires of Sherrill; his grandchildren, Nicole, Alexis Tubbs, Ryan and Evan Chaires; his brother Thayne; and his sister-in-law Joyce Tubbs of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
