He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John H. Bruinsma and Gertrude E. Wright Bruinsma; and his children, John B. Bruinsma (Kelisha) of Canastota, Burke Bruinsma (Amanda) of North Syracuse, Misty Robinson (Karissa) of Oneida and Terina Bruinsma of South Carolina. He was also cherished by several grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
