It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth T. Girdlestone (Machias, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Sweitzer and Magdeline Sweitzer (Engel); and her children, Marvin Girdlestone, Sr. and Karen Pursel (Charles). She is also survived by six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
