With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne A. Blecha of Machias, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verne Wheeler and Norma Wheeler; her husband Albert Blecha; her granddaughter Casey Blecha; and her son Alan Blecha of Machias.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Blecha (Karen) of Machias, Michael Blecha (Diane) of Machias, Jeffrey Blecha (Diane) of Chicago, Mark Blecha (Stacy) of Machias, Linda Thomas (Joe) of Machias, Jean Blecha (Dale Schang) and Sandra Scheffler (David) of Hamburg; her grandchildren, Danielle Bashirullah, Michelle Blecha, Kortney Blecha, Michael Blecha, Jeremy Blecha, Chad Blecha, Kyle Thomas, Heather Fanning, Cody Bookmiller, Lacey Blecha, Derek Blecha, Bryce Blecha, Brock Blecha, Bretton Blecha, Camden Scheffler, Cooper Scheffler, Tanner Scheffler and Ryder Scheffler; and her great grandchildren, Maya, Macey, Preslee, Leo, Albert, Milani, Melia, Taya, Lilly, Ryker, Britlin, Jace, Emma, Amelia, Naomi, Julian and Arian.
