With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine Helene Powell of Machias, New York, born in Dansville, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2024 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John William and Barbara Marie Fehringer (Rumpf); her daughter Georgianna Parker; and her siblings, David Steven Fehringer and Carol Fehringer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Volk of Florida and Cathrine Powell of Buffalo; her grandchildren, Joshua Volk, Rebecca Volk, Marcie Parker, Jacob Volk, Joseph Volk, Brianna Volk and Victoria Williams; her brothers, John Robert Fehringer (Helga) of Seattle, WA, Steven Todd Fehringer (Doris) of Gettysburg, PA and Paul Fehringer (Bev) of Orchard Park; and her sister-in-law Cindy Fehringer of Montana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
