He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Johnson (Curry); his children, Jolane Sutherland (Philip) of Delevan, NY, Edward Johnson of Ellicottville, NY and Jamie Curry of Alexandria, VA; his grandsons, Robert and Lucas Sutherland; and his brother Chris Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
