She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bates and Elizebeth M. Peet Bates; her husband Dana W. Miller; her grandson Joshua P. Miller; and her siblings, Ruth Bates, Robert, William, Donald and Richard Bates.
She is survived by: her son Stephen D. Miller (Lorie) of Machias; and her grandchildren, Christopher J. Miller (Adara), Mark S. Miller (Roy) of Sara, MV, Staci B. Forgey (Rob), Katlyn M. Bleca and Kelsi Galway (Dan). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Franklinville Food Pantry, 27 South Main Street or the Franklinville Fire Department, 75 North Main St.
