She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Wells and Mamie Flick Wells; her husband Joseph J. Burmester; her children, Helen Cornwall (Steve) of Machias, Karen Terranova (Dennis) of West Seneca and James Burmester (Joanne) of Machias; and her siblings, Gloria Haynes, Kenneth Wells and Shirley Gayford. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
