He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Dean and Joan Dean (Hourigan). He is survived by: his wife Paula Dean (Bartz); his daughters, Mandy Sanford (Jeffrey) of Bethesda, MD and Emily Dean of Virginia Beach, VA.; his siblings, Mary Bittel (David) of Syracuse, Deborah Dean of Port St, Therese Dean of Syracuse, Victoria Pezzini (Robert) of Hull, MA, Veronica Whipple of Syracuse and William Dean of Canandaigua; his mother-in-law Norma Bartz (late Norman); his siblings-in-law, Gary (late Mary) of Bradenton, FL, Lisa Wall of Alexander and Jodi Hollwedel (Robert) of Bethany; and his pet Tucker (Fatty). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
