James Wheaton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Wheaton of Macedon, New York, born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on October 30, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale and Anna "Rosier" Wheaton, Sr. (Rosier); his siblings, Dale, Jr. (Bud), Susan, Mary and Linda; and his brother-in-law Edward LaPlant.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Daniels"; his siblings, Chloe LaPlant and William Wheaton (Christine Dumas); his daughters, Nancy Scott (Terry), Bonnie Granger (Steve) and Cheryl Carlson (Miller); his grandchildren, Maverick, Wyatt, Laura, Sierra and Hadley; and his close friend Mittens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 1-4PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502. (Note: Please wear your mask and adhere to the social distancing mandates.). Funeral services will be held privately, and officiated by Rev. Garth Brokaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Jim may be made to The American Cancer Society or the Canandaigua VA Medical Center.
