He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Conaway and Dorothy Doyle Conaway; his wife Shirley Ann Havert Conaway; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Herd and Edward Conaway.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Page (Kyle), Michelle Pangburn (Jimmy) and Robert Meeks III (Terri); and his brother Keith Conaway. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
