Lawrence left this world on November 13, 2024 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeTorio and Virginia Angelo DeTorio Sr.; his daughters, Karen and Kelly DeTorio; and his granddaughter Eleanor West.
He is survived by: his wife Corrieen "Dee" Garrett; his daughters, Staci Oquain (Dylan) and Marci DeTorio (Rian West); his grandson Mason Podolski; and his siblings, Diane McCabe (Dennis), Carol Kennedy (Michael) and Joseph DeTorio Jr. (Amy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home (5 Phelps St, Lyons, NY 14489). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (3 Holley St, Lyons, NY 14489). A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the South Lyons Cemetery (976 Sohn Alloway Rd, Lyons, NY 14489).
In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to the March of Dimes, PO Box 3155, Harlan, IA 51593-0346.
