He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gary and Alice Gary; his siblings, Janice Price (Van) and Stanley Lewis (Bonnie); and his brother-in-law John VanTassel.
He is survived by: his son Leroy Lewis (Joyce); his granddaughters, Joni Lewis (Rob Dean) and Samantha Hathaway (Alex); his great grandchildren, Makayla DeJohn, Alivia Dean, Justice Dean and Ethan Hathaway; his sister Gail VanTassel; his close friend Sharon Confer; and also, Linda and Chuck Confer. He is also survived by her four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
