He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Stanley Smith and Emma Grace Petrus. He is survived by: his wife Joan L. Smith; his stepchildren, James Arnitz (Christine) and Lynda Arnitz Quinn; and his grandchildren, Micheal Arnitz (Shelli) and Alecia Young (Josh). He is also survived by great grandchildren and several cousins.
