He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton "Buck" Benware and Frances Benware (Pliscofsky); and his siblings, Clifton, Anthony and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Alex (Cindy) and Shelly; his grandsons, Jacob and Patrick; and his siblings, Nancy Palmer and David Benware. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
