Theda left this world on January 30, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Toms and Irene Toms (Fisk); her spouse Francis E. Powley of Medina; her son Ted Powley; and her granddaughters, Pamela DeFazio LaPrairie and Kayla Babus.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Powley of Topsham, VT, Penny Nice (David) of Albion, NY, Timothy Powley (Melisa) of Granville, NY and Patrice Birner (Christopher) of Middleport, NY; her daughters-in-law, Marilyn Powley and Barbara Powley; and her grandchildren, John Powley (Michelle), Jennifer Sprague (Whit), Jeremy Powley (April), Jason Powley (Erin), Jill Cutolo, Kelly Smith (Fred), Michelle Keyes (Justin), Thomas Powley (Amber), Bela Babus, Erika Babus and Nicole McKee (Dan). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home (112 N Main St, Lyndonville, NY 14098). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
