He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth O. Mattoon and Mary Mattoon (Kleckler); his brothers, Donald, Erwin, Harold and Larry Mattoon; and his daughter Denise Lawrence.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Mattoon of Oakfield, NY and Caren Eckerd (Mike) of Lyndonville, NY; his grandchildren, Debi Mattoon (Max Metcalf) of Oakfield, NY, Damien Lawrence (Erin) of Buffalo, NY, Emily James of Lyndonville, NY, Morgan James (Chris) of Middleport, NY, Haley Eckerd (Leo) of Lyndonville, NY, Kelsey Mattoon of Oswego, NY and Michael Eckerd III (Amanda) of Albion, NY; and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Cameron, Zoey, Brody, Carter, Chase, Serenity, Devin, Nathan, Ava, Braylyn and Charlotte.
