Gene W. Schroer Obituary
We bid farewell to Gene W. Schroer of Lynbrook, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 11, 2024. Gene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Schroer of Bartow, FL; his parents, Otto E. Schroer (Gene) and Clara Schroer; and his sister-in-law Patricia Schroer (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Linda Schroer; his daughter Rosemary Schroer; his sister Clara Anne White of Tamarac, FL.; and his siblings-in-law, John Bernhardi, James Bernhardi, Michael Bernhardi and Bonnie Lance. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flinch & Bruns Funeral Home, Inc. (34 Hempstead Ave, Lynbrook, NY 11563, USA). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
