It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Asta (Lynbrook, New York), born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Asta; her grandchildren, Jimmie, Lisa, Joe, Tommy and Liz; her grandchildren-in-law, Zodi, Fred, Sasha, Dana and Rory; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Brianna, Samantha, Derek, Dominic and Hailey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flinch & Bruns Funeral Home, Inc. (34 Hempstead Ave, Lynbrook, NY 11563, USA). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Mary R. C. Church (55 E Jamaica Ave, Valley Stream, NY 11580). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 at the Long Island National Cemetery (2040 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
