She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Mellick and Helen Mellick (McNally); her children, Welfare (Queens Division) and Catherine (Everett); her grandchildren, Claire and Craig "CJ" (Parkour); her husband Frank; her son-in-law Craig; her grandson Craig "CJ" Jr.; and her sisters, Mary Patricia Flynn and Margaret O'Rourke of Floral Park, NY. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
