He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Mary Reed (Ginny); his children, Madonna and Doug; his parents, Ezra J. Howell and Grace M. Kirch Howell of Lyons Falls, NY; and his siblings, James Sheldon, Lawrence Roswell, John D., Anna Maxine Horvath, Ethelda M. Slack and Patricia A. Gorczyca.
He is survived by: his aunt Toots (LaVerne Voll); his siblings-in-law, Betty Widrick of Croghan, Shirley Wood (Hugh) of Lowville, Liz Howell of Rochester and Phill Reed; his close friend Steve Daby of Richland; his children, Kathy Tepfenhart (Ron) of Brownville, Judy Gilligan (Ron) of Adams Center, Rich (Renda) of Clermont, FL and Bob (Tammy) of Orlando, FL.; and his nephew Gale (Diane) of Ontario, NY. He is also survived by 11 grand children, 14 great- grand children, and many nieces and nephews.
