He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harold Snyder and Virginia Beecher. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Patricia Snyder Falton of Bellwood, NY, Paula L. Pontolillo (George) of Mineola, NY and Denise K. Pierce (Michael) of Zionsville, IN; and his sister Ruth Yancey of Denmark, NY. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
