He was predeceased by: his mother Rita Rassi Noftsier; his grandparents, Romeyn V., Alice J. Noftsier, Lloyd and Dorothy Rassi; and his mother-in-law Kay Smithling.
He is survived by: his son Romeyn Jacob "R. J."; his father Romeyn R. Noftsier (Deborah) of Port Leyden; his stepsister Kathleen (Floyd Farr) of Port Leyden; his nephews, Floyd and Ian; his stepbrother Kevin (Kelsie Britton) of Port Leyden; his uncles, Robert "Chic" Noftsier and Terry Blair; his aunt Roberta "Birdi"; his father-in-law David Smithling; his siblings-in-law, Cathy (Peter Martin), Karl Smithling, Jeannette (Peter Turner) and Daryl (Shanny Smithling); his friends, Daniel Farr of Turin and Christopher Robin Cecilio; and his wife Rhonda L. Smithling. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins.
