He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Harold and Mary Leah Smith Payne. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Burdick; his children, William (Melissa Payne), Bethany (Todd Perry), Barbara (Kenneth Bibbins) and Elizabeth Payne of Harrisburg, PA; his sisters, Melva Parsons of Greentown, PA and Cheryl Perry of Waverly, NY; and also William. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; a brother.
