He was predeceased by: his son Robert J. Burr; his brother Roy K. Burr; and his parents, Wallace E. Burr and Ruth Goutremout Burr. He is survived by: his children, Nancy (Michael Hanno), Gerald (Susan Burr) and Debra (Gregory Schantz); and his wife Mary R. Van Nest. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Any food donations may be taken directly to the Lowville VFW any time after 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
