He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Buckingham; his siblings, William Dosztan, Andrew Dosztan, Lawrence Dosztan, Louis Dosztan and Adeline Dosztan; and his parents, Andrew Dosztan and Julia Simon Dosztan.
He is survived by: his children, Jana Dosztan Reiss of Syracuse, NY and Daniel Dosztan of Groton, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
