He was predeceased by: his daughter Sharon Pelo; his granddaughter Amanda Pelo; his sisters, Martha, Catherine, Belva and Anna; his parents, Clement N. Pelo and Marie T. McNasby Pelo; and his wife Phyllis M. Laribee of Peter's Church.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Pelo of Cedar Bluffs, William Pelo (Dawn) of Lowville, Mark Pelo (Bonnie) of New Bremen, Michelle and Robert Montroy of Rensselaer Falls; and his grandchildren, Rob, Kevin, Dylan, Travis, Shannon, Luke, Zackary, Keisha and Kyle. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. (5702 Waters Rd, Lowville, NY 13367). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (5457 Shady Ave, Lowville, NY 13367).
