He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony P. Strife and Veronica G. Strife (MacDonald); his wife Frances Katherine Linck; and his siblings, James Strife, Elizabeth and Sara Purcell.
He is survived by: his children, Mary L. Strife of Mount Hope, WV, Peter J. Strife (Kimberly) of Antwerp, NY and Rose Largett (Ron) of Warsaw, VA; his grandchildren, Sara Rowe, Teresa, Rachael and Aaron Strife; and his sister Beverly McCrickert of Greenlawn, LI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
