He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John O. Boyd and Annetta T. Brown Boyd; his wife Lorraine Sedlock; his former spouse Catholic Church; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Carol Boyd; and his children, David Sullivan, Kathy Martin, Judith Van Duren, Michael (Linda Sedlock) and Lorrie (Frank Robbins). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 16 great –grand-children, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in John's name to the New Bremen Fire Department.
