We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2024, at the age of 98, Gordon Campany of Lowville, New York, born in Croghan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Verschneider and Anna Campany Verschneider (Bush); his wife Alice Campany; and his siblings, Harlan Campany, Margie Hall, Anita Bouchard and Lagerssa Bartraw.
He is survived by: his children, Debora Nortz (Philip) of Martinsburg and Terry Campany (Judy) of Lowville; his grandchildren, Christina Hellinger (Shawn Tiffany) of Lowville, Jackie Barrows of Oxford, Charity Nortz (Jim Trainham II), Mike Nortz (Elizabeth) of Knoxville, MD, Matt Nortz (Erica Farney) of Glenfield and Tyler Nortz (Vikki Sessions) of Lowville; and his stepgrandson Rob Campany. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
