It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George G. Getman (Lowville, New York), born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Getman and Mavis LaFlair Getman; his stepfather Joseph Szalkowski; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Theresa A. Dicob of Peter's Catholic Church; his children, George Getman (Karen) of Newark, Daniel Getman (Tracie) of New Bremen and Denise Brennan (Christopher) of Lowville; his grandchildren, Katie, Alex, Kierstin, Eric, Cade, Corey, Landon and Rielly; his brother Donald Getman (Valerie) of New Bremen; his pet Skeeter; and his children, P. O. Box and Ranson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
