She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Powell; her husband Paul Sohovic; her mother Elizabeth Powell; and her siblings, Donald Powell, Joan Araki, Janet Rocker and Janice Loomis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Van Orden (Richard) of Brewerton, NY, Nancy Munger (Gerhard) of Lowville, NY, Lauren Morgan (Mel) of Smithville, TX, Kathie Watson (Rick) of Brantingham, NY, Mary Tiffany (Doug) of Glenfield, NY, Joanna (David Proia) and Paula Steria (Rick) of Brewerton, NY; and her siblings, Shirley Gilberti and David Powell (Beverly). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
