He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert W. and Ella Arlene Tuttle, Sr. (Larkins); his wife Margaret L. Rhone; his son David M. Tuttle; and his brothers, Herbert W. Tuttle, Jr. and Reginald G. Tuttle.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Shirley Tuttle-Malone (Michael), Mark A. Tuttle (Tina) and Lyndon S. Tuttle (Carrie); his daughter-in-law Sheryl A. Tuttle Lamb; and his grandchildren, Jared Malone, Ella Malone, Skyler Tuttle (Tiffany), Dana Gaines (Jared), Amber Tuttle, Kirstin Tuttle, Ashley Oakes (Dean), Benjamin Tuttle and Kathryn Tuttle. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
