He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Edwin and Clara Ripley Buell; his daughter Rhonda J. Stella; his nephew Robert J. Buell; and his siblings, Robert, Brice E. Buell, Allene Buell, Linda Lou Buell and Marion Doolittle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda H. Disch (William) of Lowville, Constance M. Arceneaux (William) of Houston, TX and Bonnie J. Love of Fairfield, CA; and his siblings, Laura J. McLaughlin of Moravia, Frank Buell of New Bremen and LeLand C. Buell of Moravia. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
