He was predeceased by: his son Mark Alan Rice; and his parents, Ernest Rice and Isabel Davenport Rice. He is survived by: his children, Sara (James Cronin), Paul (Donna Rice), John Rice of Liverpool, Dean (Lori Rice), Andrew (Robin Rice) and Sandy Rice of Saratoga Springs; his wife Mary Cynthia Ross; and also Dr. L. Paul. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a brother.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
