He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorraine (Ramage); his children, Matt (Kelly), Mark (Katie) and Ellen Harradine (Michael); his sister Karen Kissane (John); his grandchildren, Riley, Jonathan, Whitney, Livia, Aleah, Lucy, Everett and Hannah; and his parents, Paul Engel and Marjorie Engel. He was also cherished by Father of his children and Big Papi to his grandchildren.
