He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his children, Steven (Tracy) of Merrick, NY, Kelly Panicola (Barry) of Long Beach, NY and Tina Kitson (Terry) of LaGrangeville, NY; his stepsons, Pat Gordon (Elisa) of Long Beach, NY and James Gordon of Rockville Center; his siblings, Patrick Downey (Mary) of Naples, Belle Gibbs and Susan Downey of England; his grandchildren, Timmy, Brian Downey, Liam, Irene, Ava Kitson, Giovanni Panicola and Samantha Gordon; and also Irene.
